Welcome to Rapha Watches, a journey inspired by passion, determination, and achievement in the world of watches.
I am Raphael Xavier, founder of Rapha Watches and a dedicated enthusiast of the watch world, originally from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. My passion began early, at 12 years old, when my father gave me my first watch, a Citizen JP1060. From that moment, a deep connection with the art and engineering of watches was born, which would shape my professional path.
At 15, in 2018, I took my first steps into the professional world working in a mobile phone repair shop. With dedication and focus, I saved up to acquire more pieces and soon began reselling and sourcing watches for friends and family.
It was during the 2020 pandemic that my entrepreneurial journey strengthened. Working as a delivery driver in Belo Horizonte, I took advantage of every delivery to further the dream of expanding my business. It was during this period that Rapha Watches was born, initially as an Instagram store. In the beginning, sales were modest, but my determination was unwavering.
With the support of a supplier who became a great friend, I managed to get credit to expand my inventory and thus strengthen the brand. In 2022, I made a transformative decision: to move to Europe with my partner. On my second day on European soil, I already sold two limited-edition watches, starting a new phase.
In 2024, we achieved a significant milestone: we opened our commercial space in Portugal and became an official authorized Citizen agent, solidifying our commitment to quality and excellence in customer service.
Rapha Watches has sold over 3,500 watches, with many satisfied customers. Our goal is to ensure that every customer receives an authentic product, with guaranteed quality and a unique story. We are always seeking improvement, valuing customer feedback to offer an exceptional experience.
